girls camp

Okay so I know this post is so late and that I haven't posted in forever so may I please start by apologizing. This week has been busy since school started and since my friend went through the temple and is gettting married. And for some reason that amazing girl let me be her escort. Amazing temple experience. I hope its just prepping me for the experience my family will have in a couple of weeks when emily goes through and we do the work for daniel . Cross my fingers.

Anyways back on topic. Here are the 10 things I learned at girls camp.

10. It is not enjoyable to get a june bug stuck in between your shade shirt and your g top when at girls camp wearing a mermaid costume which proceded this picture.

9. It is enjoyable to have fantastic YCL assistants aka morgan and sarah who are the joys of my emerald bay ward existence and who make me very happy very much of the time and who are ridiculous and hilarious and make me wish I was as cool as them when I was 17.

Morgan

Sarah

this fantastic girl is also gave me like a full body massage while at camp. Love her.

8. Don't wear converse on an 8 mile rocky hike. Self explanatory.

7. Do dress up in ridiculous costumes while at camp.

a picture of the kitchen during the leader's skits. our costumes were amazing!

6. Do make your girls dress up in ridiculous costumes while at camp.

5. Do go to fourth year insetead of main camp. It's worth the hike.

4. Do NOT wait until the night before to pack and make all of your devotional handouts and not get any sleep before camp.

3. Do meet a wonderful woman named patty sykes who is hilarious and amazing and who I want to be when I grow up. She did a dance to swan lake and pretty much made everyone spit out or choke on their food becuase she was so funny.

2. Do have fantastic girls

1. Last but not least BEG your bishop to put you in Young Women's because it is the best calling ever!

Lol to your comment on my blog. It looks like you guys had so much fun at girls camp, and having good leaders makes what can be a hellish experience, so much better!
