AHHH

So we've been going through pictures and we found more of the pictures from our Florida make-a-wish trip. There were some fantastic pictures in them including this great one of Annie making the closest picture form version of her scared face. Sorry its a hard to see picture.

Anyways because I am a terrible older sister and a product of Reid Jones I love scaring Annie as does Julia. The best is when she is upstairs with her music ridiculously loud and you walk in on her when she's not expecting it. She doesn't scream just says like literally says AHHH really loud. It's kind of amazing but then she gets ticked at you so I try not to do it too often.

More Jones Amazingness you might appreciate. Here is a picture of Julia and I at Florida when I was skinny. Sad face.
Anyways...last night while making our mom's sign in book for Saturday I looked at these plastic dot embellishments and commented on how I wondered if they were good plastic to chew on. Julia aka my twin promptly replied...i already tried and they weren't that chewy...kind of too hard. We then died laughing at how similar we are. For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about the Jones family has odd oral fixations including but not limited to chewing on plastic. It is extreme and included Trevor taking off tags while shopping just so he can chew on the plastic that attaches the tags. The end.

I love the weird chewing on things fixation. I didn't realize that was a Jones trait. Um, you and Julia are me and Melissa. It's great when you have someone who thinks the exact same thing as you at the same time, always. However, because of the similarity, when making an argument to a spouse, the "twin's" opinion doesn't actually validate your point. As Philip always answers, "of course she does."

Oh, I want to scare Annie. I won't today, but sometime.

Case in point, I was going to make the exact same comment yesterday but didn't have time to. Yes yes, it is delightful to have someone that you can be sure is thinking the same thing as you at the same time. Dr. Heap (the new dentist in the office) likes to count the times that we are not thinking the same thing, which totally throws everyone off when that happens, good thing it has only happened twice in the last 6 months. Oh, and the chewing plastic things is hilarious. One of my favorite things to chew is a drop of hot glue that has hardened. Does anyone else have that same love?
By the way, you are hilarious and I enjoy the fact that we are all blogging.

Yes on the hot glue dot. I think it is my favorite. Look what time you were blogging Miss! You should have been in the shower, getting ready.

Anyhow, sorry Laura to hijack your blog to talk to my sister which apparently I don't get to do enough, but, I'm commenting to you off of a comment you left on Angie's. I want to do a bookclub too. Lets do it, we can have the first at my house if it helps it get started, but now, like your blog, I'm also hijacking the bookclub idea. Sorry.

Oh, and Emily said that you have toyed with the idea of law school. I think it's a fantastic idea. I can totally see you doing it. Sign up now.

I honestly can't believe that you guys have the same plastic chewing fetish. I love straws. Not the end part, but tying them in a knot and chewing on that. Oh, and yes, dried hot glue is heavenly as well. It's funny because Natalie will be getting after one of the kids for putting stuff in their mouths, and at the same time my salivary glands are totally kicking in because I'm wondering how good the comb they are chewing on must be. We're all nuts. At least we understand each other though.

As soon as you said hot glue dot hardened I recognized that as a favorite. Maybe I also used to chew on the whole stick. That was one of my mom's biggest hates was when we chewed on plastic. Ever get caught at school from a teacher chewing on plastic when they think its gum and you think it would be too weird slash uncool to admit it was really a piece of your binder that you tore off (or similar plastic object)?

I'm cracking up right now at the Jones' fetishes. Too funny.

Hey, friend, I saw a rough image of your Mom's celebration-o'-life order of services on Angie's blog. Can you scan in the tri-fold goodness? It looks awesome and I want to see more of it! In the 3 times I met your mom, she made me entirely happy. It's a good thing she made offspring like you to carry on the happiness-spreading!

Laura, it is so fun to see your blog. It seems like everyday I find someone knew that I know who has a blog. I guess that is what happens when you just start breaking into the world of blogging. I thought you did a really great job on Saturday, at the Memorial Service. Your mom is amazing. And so are you!

Chewing on a whole hot glue gun stick made me laugh out loud, and I remember distinctly in band spitting out "gum" that was actually like a plastic earing back or perhaps like the little rubber stopper thing off of a backpack zipper or something of the sort. Yes yes, us Jonsey's have all too similar lives. By the way, when are you up for a project/cousin Friday?

You don't know me. I am one of Alisse's sisters. I have constantly been thinking of your family. My mom loves you & she was so sad that she was going to be out of town on Saturday.
Our ward, Harmony Park, has mentioned your mom the last 2 weeks. People were talking about her in their testimonies last week & then in their talks this Sunday. I did not KNOW your mom... just about her. I know she was such a good person & that people will always remember all of the good things she did.
I read your post about your mom & your brother. It made me want to be a better person. Your family is so sweet.
