I'm finally free! until the next time I get roped in...

So I just want you all to know that I am finally free of the ball and chain that is jones/vista cleaners! Monday was my last day that is until someone calls me to cover for them or someone quits and I get roped into it again. But in the meantime I am very excited. While I will miss Jones customers we all know and love such as Mr. Fausey, route customers, vista customers Wolff, J.(who always talked to me about harry potter), Minns, Z (who always tipped me) and my favorite customers Vicki Sherwood and Wilbur Woolf, I think I'm okay with the departure. I am no longer the permanent Jones news spokesman, pretend manager/owner, or go to gal for problems. I could not be more ecstatic!

Walking with sunflower heads

Annie pulling the wagon to go and see the horses and lambs on emilita

Devin and I took Annie, Delia and Eden for a walk this afternoon after a hearty birthday dinner at my mom's house.( Happy Birthday Julia!)We went to go see creepy bird the emu on emerald and the other horses named chocolate, brownie, shadow and baby horse delia, as deemed by eden. So off we went wagon in tow with the girls.Annie was amazing and pulled the wagon almost the whole time. We got to creepy bird and eden called over the horse and it came over (I was amazed) and so we fed it weeds. After a while of eden feeding the horse and delia (she has no fear of anything and I'm kind of nervous for her)

Devin and Delia making cute faces
feeding the horse while I watched making sure that they didn't get their hands bitten off creepy bird came over. It ate the leaves off of the weeds and I was quite intrigued as it made its neck into a u shape to get to the weeds eden was holding. Devin dutifully kept delia from getting pecked by creepy bird. Next we went to the horses down the street that have a new baby. We picked weeds to bring to them and saw Sara drive by. Too bad she didn't drive by when I was wearing the sunflower hat.

Eden and I when I'm wearing the sunflower hat
We fed those horses until the baby horse got bored with us and started scratching its rump on the chain link fence. It was a little too up close and personal. Eden wouldn't go home until we went to the other horses on emelita and the lambs. We went over there and didn't get to feed them becuase the owners just had. So then we went down to the sheep to see the baby lambs. They wouldn't come to us and we finally left as eden was screaming bloody murder over ants which were on her and actually kind of did get on her a lot like on her legs and dress. I don't know how she managed it but now amanda's going to think we are terrible walk-sitters when she has ant bites all over.On our way home I ran into Julie and Laura LeSueur and then amanda and lee came in there truck to pick us up to eat birthday cake. The end. That was kind of an abrupt ending but I don't have anything else to tell.

Shoes so many shoes!

So in getting ready for our move next weekend and I'm cleaning out my closet, no mama I'm not sorry. Anyways, Ive found that I have way too many clothes that I don't wear any more which is shown by the now five bags that need to go to DI and that I have way too many shoes. Last count, 45. I've paired it down to 35 and I can't manage to part with anymore. I've found that I have six pairs of pink shoes but only three pink shirts. I think there is some imbalance and I can't seem to part with any of the six pairs. If any of you have any shoe organizing tips let me know because I'm at a loss and my shoes and Devin's combined makes 40.
It's our anniversary today (earlier part was written Thursday) and Devin isn't feeling well so I'm at home at 9:00 writing a new post. What pathetic lives we live. I'm thinking about getting chinese and settling in for a night of movie watching. Happy anniversary to me? Hahah oh well given the circumstances, can you ask for a better night then that?

School's out!

Devin and I are done with school! We are happy to report that we both got good grades and life is less stressful. Now I don't have to write 8 pages of b.s every week while Devin wrote 8 pages the whole semester. Curse MCC! Lucky for me my ta do list is longer not shorter because we are moving, I have a sign in book to make by June 1st, and I spent my weekend making a baby album for a friend and babysitting Amanda's kids instead of doing what I was supposed to do. I'll be honest it was a lot more fun then organizing my house but I really shouldn't procrastinate so much. Devin went to father's and son's this weekend with his younger brother and now has inside jokes with any and every boy thirteen and younger in the ward. He's such a kid! He now refers to Anthony Grunninger as Antoine and Anthony calls him Fletcher. At least he has friends his own age too!

Damien Rice

Okay so we are playing catch up on the fun things we have done recently. May 2nd Devin, Emily and I went to Damien Rice in Tucson! It was an amazing show! We got a really late start going to Tucson and had extreme trouble finding the venue because map quest is the bane of my existence and always gives me bad directions but luckily we made it in time for his first song. Wow. The show was so good! He played all of my favorites including a new version of Volcano which changed because the girl singer is no longer with them...tear. And their cellist is my new hero due to the fact that Gretta Cohen quit cursive (that slut!). The only bad part was Damien's falsetto singing to replace Lisa Hannigan's parts and the 70's rock session during the middle of the show. Best part was the end when he sung Cheer's darling and acted out the song. He even had props! It doesn't get any better then that. I mean honestly can you ask more from a band then to incorporate props? It was fantastic! Not to mention the fact that I had already joked about him coming out in a viking hat with horns and a stuffed bra with cleavage to sing the opera part in Eskimo friends and then he came out props to cheer's darling! So anyways Emily and I spent way to much money on shirts that don't fit as well as we hoped and Devin did his best job to loudly speak inappropriate things because it was silent at the venue. I think the show changed my life. Definitely top five.

But not as much as you

I don't know what Laura is talking about. We are quite obviously the coolest members of the family.

Heart and smooches,
Devin

We're kind of boring.

This is us desecrating a large mural of Native Americans that we found at a random stop outside L.A.

Okay so we're going to try this out but just warning you we're really boring and I don't know how good I'll be at keeping this up. So right now we are almost done with finals. I have my last day tomorrow (Tuesday) and Devin is almost done too. We are moving to another apartment in the next week or two. We're excited because it's a two bedroom! In April we went to six flags and San Diego for Devin's birthday. We went over with Devin's best friend and his girlfriend. We only got lost a couple of times and when we got at six flags at 5 in the morning we slept like hobos on the floor in front of a school district (it was Good Friday so no one came by). In San Diego we went to church for Easter Sunday. After the talk our friend went to compliment the Bishop on his good talk and we met this guy in the ward who was about 28. He introduced himself to us and we told him that we were visiting. He quipped back, "Well, if I ate people I'd have you for dinner". Between that line and his three piece brown leisure suit from the 60's he became our new favorite person. The End.
